TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR HAIR REMOVAL TREATMENT
Before treatment:
- Shaving:Please shave the treatment area the day before. Please use a razor or electric shaver instead of waxing or tweezers.
- Cosmetics:Please do not apply antiperspirant, deodorant or sunscreen to the treatment area before your appointment.
When visiting:
- Treatment time:The reservation time is the start of treatment. Please arrive 10 minutes early to complete changing clothes, anesthesia, and shaving before your scheduled appointment time.
- Additional charges:If you require numbing cream or assistance with shaving, please let us know when making your reservation. (Anesthetic cream and assisted shaving are chargeable at: small parts $20, large parts $30)
- Late arrival:If you are late for your reservation, or if you arrive without shaving (if you did not request shaving at the time of reservation), we may not be able to treat all of the areas you have requested, depending on the reservation of the next customer. We appreciate your understanding in advance.
- Pictures:We may take before and after photos to check the condition of your skin to improve future treatments.
After treatment:
- Possible reactions:After hair removal, your skin may appear red, swollen, and itchy. Please keep the treatment area clean and well moisturized. We recommend that you only take a shower before your visit, and subsequently from the next day onwards. After treatment if you have any abnormalities on your skin, please refrain from saunas, strenuous exercise, or drinking alcohol as it could cause irritation for your skin.
- Shaving:Your skin will be sensitive for a week after the treatment, shaving with a razor increases the risk of inflammation. If needed, we recommend a clean electric shaver. Please avoid sun tanning or sunburns during the hair removal period.
Treatment period:
- Treatment period:Treatment can be performed after two weeks, but we recommend treatments once a month for optimum results.
Treatment contraindications, side effects, and prohibitions:
- Risk:Hair removal treatment may cause redness, swelling, itching, purpura (reddish-purple discoloration, breakage of fine blood vessels), burns, blisters, scabs, changes in skin color and texture, worsening of melasma, folliculitis, discomfort, pigmentation, and scars, activation of the herpes virus, and the possibility of harden hair texture.
- Untreatable areas:Avoid tattoos, warts, large moles, and mucous membrane areas (inside the nose and mouth).
- Moles:Hair removal rays can be used on areas with small moles, but it may cause swelling, redness, and scabs. If you would like to refrain from treatment in that area, please let us know beforehand.
- Abnormalities:If you notice any abnormalities on your skin after the treatment, please contact us and promptly seek medical attention.
- Ingrown:After the treatment, the tips of the hairs exposed to light may curl due to the heat, resulting in possible ingrown hairs. In most cases, it is naturally excreted from the body within 1-3 months. Dry skin can cause ingrown hairs, so be sure to moisturize your skin thoroughly.
Other Important notes:
- Medical conditions:If you are sensitive to UV rays or have metal, plastic, silicone, etc. implanted in your body, we will not be able to perform the treatment without your doctor's approval, please let us know before the treatment.
- Electronic medical devices:We are strictly unable to perform treatment if you uses pacemaker, internal defibrillator, implantable medical electronic device, life-saving electronic device such as a heart-lung machine, or wearable medical electronic device such as an electrocardiogram or any metal embedded in the hair removal area.
- Health issues:We are strictly unable to perform treatment if you have or had cancer, especially skin cancer or a precancerous mole. Have severe comorbidities, such as heart disease. If you have a weakened immune system due to an immunosuppressive disease such as AIDS, or if you are using immunosuppressants. We will not accept treatment for those who have undergone surgical treatment, laser fencing, or peeling or laser treatment on the hair removal area within the past 3 months, or who have undergone above treatments within the past 1 month.
- Allergies:If you are undergoing treatment at the hospital or have an allergic disease, please bring your doctor's consent form for hair removal before treatment.
- Purpose and number of treatments:Please note that our treatments are aimed at hair reduction and may require multiple treatments.
Infection control:
- Infection prevention measures:If your body temperature is 37.5℃ or higher before your visit, you may be refused entry. We also appreciate your cooperation in maintaining the cleanliness of the VIO area.
Cancellation policy and package expiration date:
- Cancellation Policy:To cancel or change your reservation, please contact the store by WhatsApp or phone at least one day in advance. There is no cancellation fee for cancellations made up to the day before. If you cancel on the day or without prior notice, 100% of the reservation fee will be charged, and if using a package, you will be charged 100% of the scheduled treatment.
- Package expiration date:The expiration date of our package is 2 years from the time of purchase, and transfer to another person is not permitted.
Minors:
- Treatment for minors:Minors (under 18 years of age) who wish to undergo treatment must be accompanied by a guardian and have written consent.
Staff:
- Note to staff:Note to staff: Sexual harassment in acts or comments towards our staff or therapists are prohibited. Legal action will be taken immediately if violated.
